I took Louis’s meditation course when I was in a seemingly relaxed state — I had just quit my job and had two months to relax and unwind before starting my new one. My partner is the one who encouraged me to come along because it’s something that he really wanted to try and I was very open to the experience.
It wasn’t until I started my new job that I really noticed the benefits of my practice. In a highly stressful and new environment I was finding myself feeling overwhelmed and anxious (a state I don’t tend to relate to). Louis’s course really helped me to declutter my mind — it was so valuable being able to switch off, even just for twenty minutes. But the more you meditate the more you notice the effects spread throughout your day-to-day life, and this is where the real benefit lies.
In general both me and my partner are more relaxed and are better equipped to handle stress and anxiety. We’re also using our phones a lot less — which is an added bonus!
For anyone considering this course, even if you don’t consider yourself an anxious/stressed person, I would highly recommend it. Louis’s passion for his practice is extremely inspiring. You can tell that he is extremely passionate about meditation and it’s so lovely that he welcomes guests in to his home — this is a really nice touch!

This class was my introduction to meditation. The course was great for me as a novice: well taught, simple and with good emphasis on the take home messages, all in a very calming voice. I have felt confident about meditating on my own since, but it has been really helpful to have Louis send emails checking in and also organising group meditation sessions. Also, he makes a delicious tea. Since visiting his course, I have meditated regularly and notice the calm it brings to my days. I’d certainly recommend his course for someone keen to start meditating daily.

I participated in a meditation workshop run by Louis in early December 2018. Initially it seemed like tricky timing to quarantine some ‘me’ time in that speedy lead up to Christmas, but in actuality it turned out to be perfectly timely.
Over the 3-day evening course, Louis led a structured but relaxed class, and ensured participants were comfortable in the meditation practice and knew what to expect next from the course. Even with a small class, Louis ensured there were lots of opportunities to share personal experiences from his own practice and the new approaches of each participant, and this is where the rich learning took place.
I enjoyed the opportunity to embed my own practice over the holiday period and observed clarity of mind after most meditation sessions at home. Being a mum with both a busy family and work life, the thought of setting aside 40 minutes per day to practise was initially complex, but I came to value that prioritised time in the early morning and late afternoon.
I’d recommend giving Louis’s course a try, as it could be one effective way to support ‘quietening your mind’ and experiencing the studied benefits of meditation for yourself.

I have been practising meditation on and off for many years before doing Louis’s one giant mind 3-day Learn Meditation course. I have always enjoyed meditation, but I’ve never been able to commit to a regular practice to really know, see and feel all the benefits that this brings.
Louis presents the classes in a really clear and structured way that allowed me to quickly grasp the concept and practice of this gentle, easy and simple style of meditation. And for the first time I felt well equipped to be able to meditate by myself with no guidance or a yoga teacher. This felt really empowering.
The way the course is created also allowed me to easily commit to regular practice and I felt like this was something that I wanted to incorporate into my life straight away.
Meditation is now something I look forward to — it’s time out for me to connect with myself and just be. Meditation was always one of those things that, intellectually, I knew I would benefit from it, but it seemed like an indulgence for which I had no time. I’ve been an on-and-off meditator for the best part of 10 years but have struggled to commit to making it part of my daily life. Subconsciously I considered meditation down the priority list and therefore easily found excuses not to do it when things were going well.
